I started Discover Opportunities after burning out, not once, not twice, but three times. Being the reliable, loyal and enthusiastic one, always saying yes and rarely had no in my vocabulary resulting in being the go to person for all departments.  Until I realised, no one ACTUALLY asked me to do any of these duties over and above my role, I just did it, I just thought I had to be a team player, to be valued but really was the person who everyone else used as crutch.

Now, trying to help professionals, leaders, and business owners recognise and break these cycles that are possibly breaking them or at least creating a weight they are dragging around with them. Now the realisation of you don't have to sacrifice your health, who you are, or  what you do personally to bring you joy to be "successful."

These posts are reflections, they aren't polished lessons. They're real thoughts, raw moments, and hard learnt truths from the frontlines of work and life balance.
